Has anyone tried this with the FFV pixel remaster?
The font in general is awful. Some of the mods to replace it with a more pixel style font is way better. But for sure the JP one looks better being uniform.

Yooo that looks AMAZING! I was honestly expecting something mediocre but this really surprised me!
The font should have been a pixelated to match the rest of the game. There's something really disturbing about the super smooth, hi-res letters/numbers is stark contrast to the 16-bit retro aesthetic.
Just a quick tip. If you have screen tearing, you can force vsync from Nvidia (and propably from AMD) control panel. At least with Nvidia control panel you can set this just for the game so other games/programs are not affected!
It's crazy how squished it is before you do this.

Bigger question is has someone completely changed the font? like to one that fits the old game and not this clean modern off putting font =/
Super helpful, thanks! (I only wish there was a way to have pixel style font to match the overall style of the game. It seems weird to my eighties kid sensibilities to see those text windows alongside that pixel art. I guess that's mainly a me problem.)
